The Hillsdale Solar Coalition project is about getting a bunch of folks together, simultaneously, to bulk purchase and install solar electric systems on their individual houses. The super special thing about this Hillsdale Solar Coalition project is that it is a community effort to raise money for the local schools. The savings the project earns are donated to those schools. The more folks that sign up to have solar systems installed on their homes the greater the tax deductible donation will be to the local schools. In addition to this, a bunch of local business are kicking in addition cost saving coupons and discounts to further encourage the community to participate in the Hillsdale Solar Coalition project.
The cost saving does not only come through the saving of bulk purchasing but as much by YOU saving US the effort of multiple site visits before you commit to a Solar installation.
The cost saving idea behind the Hillsdale Solar Coalition project is that we work together to get a solar system installed on your house as easily and inexpensively as possible for all concerned.
All installations will be discounted the below amounts. The savings from these discounts are to be donated to our local schools.

Project Rules of Engagement
Now is the time (campaign ends 6/14/15).
For every home that installs a solar system where 10 or less homes participate, each system will be discounted 2%. This 2% discount will then be given as a tax deductible contribution to the Hillsdale schools.
For every home that installs a solar system where 11 to 20 homes participate, the discount and contribution will be 3%
For every home over 21 to 30 it will be a 4%.
And For every home over 31 it will be a 5%

Solar Energy Solutions will contact you for your free telephone consultation to explain all of the benefits of going solar and the advantages of the Hillsdale Solar Coalition project. The main point of this conversation is for us to work together to figure out what size and cost system you can see yourself installing. We will take whatever time it takes with you over the phone to explain how all of the solar incentives work and to figure the sizing and pricing question out. A system size and cost will pretty much be determined in this way before we ever step foot on your property. Only after we have spent as much time as is needed for the both of us to feel good about the size and cost of the system you would like to install, would we come to your home. By having Solar Energy Solutions come out to your home, you are agreeing to participate in the Hillsdale Solar Coalition project. When we come to your home for that first visit, we will receive a 5% Earnest Money deposit on the NET Cost of the system we have agreed to over the phone. We will also confirm and establish the finer points of your solar project. Next, we will go about getting the preapprovals we need to proceed with your project. This usually takes 4 – 8 weeks. Once we have those preapprovals in hand and the equipment arrives at our warehouse another larger deposit, to cover the cost of the equipment, is required. At this time, we will know the level of participation in the Hillsdale Solar Coalition project and will also pick up a second check. This check is your tax deductible donation to the local Hillsboro schools at the rate determined above. All of this monetary accounting will be clearly stated on your solar contract and the accompanying Hillsdale Solar Coalition Paperwork.
